This past weekend, one of my closest friends got married! It was such a sweet ceremony, and I wanted to share my favorite parts of the day!
The ceremony took place in a backyard in a very rural area, which set a beautiful natural scene for a small and intimate wedding. The bride and groom said their “I Do’s” under a gorgeous tree with decorative lanterns in turquoise and white. Balloons lined the aisle, offering a fun touch to the space. Creatively painted signs instructed guests where to sit.
Oh, and she looked STUNNING!
One of my favorite parts of the entire day were the s’more stations at the reception tables. There were clay pots filled with hot coals, perfect for roasting a marshmallow or warming your hands on the surprisingly cold May day. It was the perfect unique touch to decorate the tables, and engage the guests.
More than anything, this wedding was a great time for friends and family to come together and celebrate two people as they start this new chapter of their lives. That intimate backyard setting was just the right atmosphere to reminisce about the old days and get excited about the new.
Congratulations to the Newlyweds!
